please grow up and be a beautiful (always beautiful for me) and successful with a good hearted person. always learn to be a good person to your Creator Allah The Mighty, be kind to others, be hardworking and dont easily give up. dont cry alone as im with you all the time…mommy wanted you to know that i will always be there for you…support you..no matter what be someone or do anything you loves to and likes. i would love to share everything and anything that comes to your life. together. (please dont forget me ok?) and be a doctor (obsessed mom!!)  ok..ok..you can choose anything that you wanna be when you grow up…i ll be right next to you to support mommy daddy loves you Maryam hannah!

Happy Birthday Dear Maryam Hannah!!

shes turning one and gonna celebrate it with friends at school!!!

mummy and daddy not even invited! Somehow, mommy still prepare the cake and some goodies pack for her friends.

i hope she have fun and have happy time with her friends

however, i received some not so good news this late morning..Maryam is not feeling well today. slightly fever. teething maybe :(

her school teacher even called me to pick her up. poor my baby. so, a doctor visit on the birthday it is. wanted her to take her medicine and rest and looking forward for her birthday dinner tonite. hope she will be fine after.

12 month doctor’s check up : the checklist

theres another big thing (besides birthday party) that i almost forgot about my baby turning one. its the doctor’s check up!! Owh my..luciky the email from baby center remind me about it. we must prepare some information (for the doctor to know) for our baby’s 12 month check up. its only some general detail regarding our child..nothing much actualy..but still, we parent should prepare and ensure our child receive best inspection and consultation from the doctor right? here are some info from babycenter.com

you can expect your baby’s doctor to:

• Weigh and measure your child to make sure he’s growing at a healthy, steady rate.
• Check your baby’s heart and breathing.
• Check your baby’s eyes and ears.
• Measure your baby’s head size to keep track of his brain growth.
• Give your child his next round of immunizations. He’ll probably get Hib, pneumococcal, polio (if he hasn’t had the third dose yet), chicken pox (varicella), MMR, and hepatitis A (two doses between 12 and 23 months, six months apart). immunization may defer in Malaysia. go and check with the clinic.
• Answer any questions you have about vitamin supplements, if you want your child to have them.
• Address any of your concerns about your child’s health, including how to treat colds, coughs, cuts, and bumps and falls.
• Offer information on how (and how not) to discipline your child.
• Make sure your child is continuing to learn new skills and not losing old ones.
• Offer insight into your child’s development, temperament, and behavior.
• Assess your child’s risk of lead exposure and order a blood test to screen for it, if necessary.
• Order a blood test to screen for iron-deficiency anemia.

Questions the doctor may ask:

• How’s your child sleeping?
• How’s your child eating?
• How many teeth does your child have?
• Is your child pulling himself up? Standing? Walking?
• What does your child say?
• How are your child’s social skills?
• How are your child’s fine motor skills (picking up small objects, for example)?
• How’s your child’s vision?
• How’s your child’s hearing?

this checklist is from baby center USA. im sure our country has owned guided and checklist as well (i dont have the Malaysian version). somehow, this little note give me some idea and general idea on what to ask her doctor later. hope its help yours too ;)

March is here ;)

its March!!! yahoo!!

i have been excitedly and nervously waitng for this month to arrive

all because my baby is turning one!!!! OMG!!! ok…i know i become a big fuss about this but…hey! i am the mother. surely excited! i am sure i m not alone here…hehehe only mothers has this feeling right? agree mommies??

yeah..all this birthday bash stuff and thingy keep hanging on my head. thinking of what im gonna do for my little princess on her 1st birthday. there will be a small celebration only..we decided to have only small cake cutting at home since she is too small to understand and appreciate the event. she will be surrounding with familiar faces to celeberate she turns one…and i think thats much better for her. the fact is, we dont want to face any scene or drama by the princess on that day hahaha we afraid if the big crowd will scare her and ruin off her mood. hehehe well, we cannot tell when it come to child’s emo/behavior right? suddently changing from good mood to bad mood and vice verse

p/s: still thinking whats the birthday theme and color theme. what will she like? hurmmm

the 11th month

i dont even realise this..she is growing up sooo fast

today is her 11th month old birthday. she will be one year old in just 30 days!! OMG!! 30 days away!! really cant believe this.

at 11 month old, she is master in crawling. and trying to standing alone with no hand holding the furniture shes baby talk a lot and that’s make us laugh all day looking at her. dancing (and sometimes sing along) when her favorite music is played..clapping her hand and pointing at things that shes interested.

since last month, Hannah attended child-care centre near our home. she have been behave very well so far  and happy every time i droped her at school.  #proudmommy

im the one who’s not ok here haha always nervous every-time i left her at school. wondering will she cry badly? is she doing well? eating well?  is she comfortable and making friend? did she miss me as much i do?? you know..all this kind of mommy-thinking stuff. hehe

but then again, i wanted the best for her :)  hence we decided to send her to school so that she can play with other babies and learning new things together

Baby Food: Chicken Carrot with Rice

here goes my 1st post! its baby food!! haha me got blank on what to post since i have been busy with work and nothing much story to tell.

my routine starts early morning. prepare baby girl to school, breakfast together, sending her to school, work, work, work, pick up her from school, prepare for dinner, playing with her and put her to sleep…and i go to sleep as well hahaha very busy weekdays. only got time on weekend and a must do on weeknd is groceries shopping and stock up her baby food. hence this post of baby food!!

this is a healthy and faster meal that i can prepare. chicken carrot with rice.

i cooked the rice. as usual, i make the rice soft by adding much water in it.

chop the carrots and green spinash. and boiled them.

cut the chicken into pieces together with a small onions. since this is an introduction of white meat meal to my baby, i use only union as the spices.

bolied them. water level is up till covered the chicken.

 as all is cooked. put them together and blended them well.

done.

that simple

Baby Food: Oat Porridge with Apple

another one of her favorite!!

got to share this with all mommies out there!! 

btw, i used this cooking book to prepared Maryam Hannah food. and sometimes, i do refer to Annabel Karmel website to search out some new recipe. i bought the book at times book store for rm30. cheap!! compare to Annabel’s book will cost u near 100 bucks!! you should get this one thou. trust me, they truly provide you 500 recipe. plenty enough for you mommies to try out right? 

 

 here, let me share one of recipes that i’ve tried
Oat Porridge with Apple Puree

now, lets begin.

all u need for this cooking is Apples and Instant Oat. thats it!!

prepare the apples. please use red apples ye mommies. 

peel off the skin and chop in to pieces. washed and boiled. 

don’t wait too long coz apple easily get soft. i only waited until the water is boiling. or you can use fox, poked into the apple. if it soft, then you are done.

at the same time, prepare the oat porridge. boiled and cooked for 10 minutes. or cooked until tender.

you can blend the oat if you want to. i just over cooked the oat..so its melt and soft. 

blended the apples.

i blended and stored the apples separately with the oat. 

  
and mixed them whenever i wanted to serve my baby 

 

easy huh?

and i bet ur babies gonna love it too!!

Hannah 1st fever @ 9 month old

right on her 9 month birthday, she had a bad vomit at first. started to worried as she vomited several times. everytime iam about to feed her food, she muntah. banyak ;(


naseb lah minum susu ok. for the world day, she only drink susu. no food at all ;( bring her to the clinic and doctor just said shes beginning of fever. she’s still a playfull and active baby. main n gelak gelak. cuma bila mkn je dia muntah. kesian sgt.


as the night arrive, she finally had her fever..first time ever. merengek je tido mlm probably discomfort from the heat inside her body. her tempreture was 37.8 celcious. it was weekdays and luckily her daddy is on leave that time. mommy is restless. risau and busy to check her on. every hour ambil tempreture. her fever goes on off for two days. hati mommy pon on off jugak that time. sedih la tgk anak saket ;(

and alhamdullilah she is fever free on the third day

this is when shes under fever attack hehe no mood at all. tak mo pandang mommy nak ambil gambar pon.

she tido with us during this time. it easier for us to look after her. risau kot muntah sorang sorang dlm baby cot dia. tidur peluk bantal..manja habis.

then the day after, me realized her gum is in very bad swollen.  shes teething sebenarnya. after two or three days later then only the gigi appear hehe gigi bawah

yeyy!!! she can now chew her food and enjoy her meal better.
